Crytek is the World’s largest independent video gaming company that dedicates itself to the creation of cutting edge technology video games for both the PC and next generation consoles.
With their head quarters in Frankfurt and offices in Budapest, Sofia, Kiev and Seoul, Crytek UK wanted an instantly impressive, centrally located UK based headquarters, selecting 22,600 sq ft of Nottingham’s Southreef development.
The design brief from the client was very clear: the office should reflect the investment they have in their people, and the interior to reflect the Crytek brand in a clean and contemporary, yet individual and creative. The timeless scheme provides the functionality required for efficient use now and in the future. With combinations of open plan, cellular and informal work areas it also exudes the energy and fun which is at the heart of the business.
The contemporary and sophisticated suite of fixed and loose furniture tied by subtle colour, finish and shape references, complement each other perfectly, ensuring that the environment will work and grow with Crytek as they expand and morph. The scheme was enhanced by delicate retro features such as the Anglepoise lamps, feature lighting pendants, gaming themed manifestation and freestanding brand letters enhancing the
spaces character.
