Renovo

In June 2008 Paragon completed a £3m contract for FTSE-listed Renovo at the University of Manchester Core

Technology Facility (CTF).  Paragon created a working environment for up to 200 staff, consisting of 16,000ft2 of ISO standard research and development laboratories and 21,400ft2 of office space.

Renovo’s expansion into the adjacent University of Manchester CTF building was essential for the business to meet the huge potential market demand for Juvista, its scarring reduction product and its overall growth.

Paragon managing director, Alan Hardy, said; “This project required some very specialised skills with regards to the category 1 and 2 laboratory facilities and I am very proud of the results we achieved for Renovo, which balance aesthetic appeal with technical rigour and practicality.

“We have now built on this and have expanded our work within the Pharmaceutical sector further.  Yet we have targeted this as a major growth area for continued growth for us over the coming years.”

Renovo’s facilities manager, Jane Blackburn, said;  “Although it is a beautiful modern building, the internal design proved very challenging. Paragon’s design team worked tirelessly for almost four months to help create a stunning scheme prior to the fitting-out began.

“I am confident that we optimised the available space and now have an excellent facility that complements the design of the building and is an excellent environment for staff to work in.”
